Redesigning a premium automotive site to better reflect quality, trust, and clarity.
Role: Designer and Developer
Duration:
8 Weeks
OCR Rally is a business that specialises in classic rally car preparation and restoration. Their previous site didn’t reflect the quality of their work. It looked outdated, had no clear structure, and failed to make use of their extensive library of high-end photography. There was no real storytelling, no trust signals, and no clear path to get in touch.
The business targets classic car owners and motorsport enthusiasts who expect a premium experience. The old site didn’t meet that expectation.
The challenge: Create a site that showcases their work, reflects the professionalism of the brand, and clearly communicates their services.
The original site had several key issues:
OCR Rally’s audience is made up of classic car owners and rally enthusiasts. Most are experienced, detail-focused, and expect a high level of professionalism from any brand they work with.
They don’t need to be convinced with marketing fluff. They need to see the quality quickly, trust the people behind it, and understand exactly what’s on offer.
The new design aimed to deliver that with a clean layout, sharp messaging, and strong visuals.
I created a simple, flexible design system that covered type, spacing, and components. It’s modular and easy to expand for future updates while keeping the look and feel consistent.
The redesigned site gives OCR Rally a clear and confident digital presence that reflects the quality of their work. It surfaces their photography across the site, improves the structure and clarity of their services, and presents the brand in a more polished and professional way. Visitors now get a much stronger first impression, with a layout and tone that matches the standards of the business.
The new site sets a solid foundation for future growth, making it easier for OCR Rally to showcase new projects, engage clients, and continue building trust with their audience.
